Women's International Theater Festival
Provincetown Dramatic Arts is presenting its annual Women’s International Theater Festival April 26 – 28, continuing the tradition of ten- minute plays by local women playwrights. Featured playwrights this year are Brigid Moynahan, Candace Perry, Lynda Sturner, and Margaret Van Sant.

Wretched Little Brat by Brian Merriam
Free play reading about Oscar Wilde and his lovers, Lord Alfred Douglas and Robbie Ross. The actors performing are Michael Burke, Scott Cunningham, Brian Merriman, Spencer Keasey, Lynda Sturner, Jane Macdonald, and Jody O'Neil.

The Women's International Theater Festival
The Women’s International Theater Festival will open its twelfth season on Friday evening, October 13, with a production of A Woman’s Heart, a play in poetry by Judith Partelow. The festival is held in conjunction with Women’s Week Provincetown, which has put the spotlight on creative women through theatrical, musical, and other cultural events in annual celebrations for more than 30 years.

A Woman’s Heart
Judith Partelow’s play explores a woman’s emotional life as she faces the challenges of child-rearing, career, love, and loss. Three female actors represent the story’s heroine at different stages of her journey, and a single male actor assumes multiple roles. The actors are Cynthia Harrington, Lee Roscoe, and Rod Owens, as well as the playwright herself. Partelow’s language has been called, “funny, sexy, gutsy and vulnerable.”

Anna Christie
ANNA CHRISTIE, Eugene O’Neill’s celebrated Pulitzer Prize-winning drama and hit of the 2016 season, is returning to the Wharf House at the Provincetown Marina, opening July 13.

Made in Heaven
“Made in Heaven” by Candace Perry is a long short that deals with matches made in Heaven. What a surprise awaits in the happy ever afterlife when God's promise is an eternal life with the one you truly love. Prejudice, opportunity, social and legal influences may determine your love life here on earth but the Gods have other ideas.
